Good news for new owners of a G1. ParkMark no longer crashes. After some sleuthing through comments today I figured out what was causing the problem for some people. It turns out that a G1 that has never had it’s GPS used will crash ParkMark. This passed straight through two stages of testing due to the nature of the problem. Latest ParkMark version is v1.2.3 with the force close problem solved.

Geodroid may be affected also, though to a lesser degree with it’s users, since Geodroid users have typically run other GPS apps as well, which would solve the problem.

Posted v1.1.12 today. Some changes include:

ParkMark update 1.1.12 is close to ready. Noteable changes include an update available alert and layout updates. Screenshots can be seen here.
